  • Exciting Conference Information!

    Hello Aquatics Friends!

    Next week is a big one with our Annual CPRS Conference taking place in Sacramento!  For those of you who are attending, we wanted to make sure you were aware of all of the great things that were going on, so here we go….

     Tuesday, February 28th  

    • Aquatics IntensiveRiding the Wave into the Future: Best Practices and New Ideas in Aquatics.  There is still space available!   The intensive will be from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the Sacramento Convention Center. 
      Sessions include: Foundation for Successful Swim Team Partnerships, The Millennial Impact, Proactive Preventative Scanning & Team Building
      Registration is only available on site on Tuesday
    • Aquatics Section Scavenger Hunt & Social – Please join us for our New Awards Program winner presentation at 6pm and stay to meet and reconnect with other aquatics professionals and have lots of fun!

    • Evaluate your organization and open position’s goals and whether the current process supports the mission of finding the best person for the job.
    • Assemble “real-life” exercises to thoroughly evaluate applicants for seasonal positions

    Learn to Swim Accommodations. Autism Spectrum Swim Lessons

    • Discuss adaptive aquatics services as it relates to children on the autism spectrum
    • Communicate the why and how the decision was made to partner with outside agencies and secure other community support

    • Discuss and collaborate on  what it means to be an effective leader and how investing in and appreciating staff delivers results
    • Summarize five motivation tips that will inspire your team to achieve more both individually and together
