    Webinar: 2018 Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Grant Application Process Open

    Thursday, May 3rd, 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST

    The National Park Service (NPS) has announced that the application process has opened for the 2018 Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program (ORLP). The ORLP is a nationally competitive grant program funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). The ORLP offers nationally competitive grants specifically to help create and improve state and locally-owned parks and other outdoor recreation areas in ways that will help the public to access or re-connect with the outdoors, particularly in city neighborhoods that lack parks and recreational opportunities. A total of $13.3 million of funding is available, click for additional information.

    City Parks Alliance, National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)The Trust for Public Land (TLP), and the National Association of State Outdoor Recreation Liaison Officers (NASORLO), are hosting the webinar and National Park Service representatives Joel Lynch and Elisabeth Fondriest will provide an overview of the program and the grant application process.
