Good Afternoon (newly renamed) Recreation Section!
On behalf of the 2016-2017 Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for taking the time to participate in CPRS elections. This election was a big milestone for us! Our new name was approved, our bylaws revised to include a three tier presidency mirroring the State Board, and we launched a new purpose statement among other changes.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of the Recreation Section is to provide innovative education, resources and networking opportunities, while encompassing a diverse section of recreation. We foster empowerment of professionals at all levels of programming.
This year will be a stellar year for the Recreation Section and it is with great pleasure I announce our leaders who will be installed at the CPRS Conference in Sacramento. Drumroll please….The elected officials are:
