Hello Aquatics Section Members!
During the summer months individuals of all ages will flock to their local community pools or water parks seeking the refreshing water and thrill of the newest attractions.
While these pools and facilities provide endless amounts of fun under the sun, it is important to remind all participants of the inherent hazards of the water, and offer water safety instruction to help prevent water related emergencies.
June 24th is not just another day on the calendar but is the date set for the 7th annual World’s Largest Swim Lesson and you pick your own time!
Over 500 facilities around the world will be participating in this annual event providing participants the unique opportunity of setting a world record while learning to swim.
The World’s Largest Swim Lesson is a program offered by the World Waterpark Association with support of over a dozen industry leaders. For some families this might be the only opportunity to participate in swimming lessons.
If your facility has missed the June 14 registration deadline to participate, please provide the attached link on your website of participating facilities!
