Hello Aquatics Section,
Last week the Aquatics Section sent an email with information and recommendations for voting on the Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC). We would like to clarify some items in that email.
The Aquatics Section is in no way advocating that its members vote one way or another on the MAHC and the over 160 recommended changes to the MAHC. While we did include a link with recommended voting guidelines, those were put together by the World Waterpark Association (WWA) and not voted on or advocated by the CPRS Aquatics Section Board.
If you would like to vote on the MAHC, you can go to the CMAHC's website. Only CMAHC Members may vote on the Code. Voting closes on 12/20/15!
For more information on the MAHC and the changes, visit the CMAHC Change Requests website. You can read through each of the recommendations and vote on them. WWA released their recommendations for voting as did The Association of Aquatic Professionals (AOAP), which you can find here. The CPRS Aquatics Section is not recommending our members vote according to any of these guidelines, we are giving you the resources to make an informed decision.
