District 8 is looking for individuals to take on leadership positions on the Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to get involved, network and to have input and ownership in your CPRS District 8! You must be a current member of CPRS and work within our District 8 boundaries in order to serve on the board.

• Vice-President, 3 Year Term (Position advances to President, then Past President)
• Secretary, 1 Year Term
• Treasurer, 1 Year Term
• Newsletter Editor, 1 Year Term
Appointed positions:
• Administrative Section Representative
• Aging Services & Activities Section Representative
• Aquatics Section Representative
• Development & Operations Section Representative
• Educators Section Representative
• Recreation Supervisor Section Representative
• Recreation Therapy Section Representative
• Legislative Representative
• Commercial Representative
District 8 conducts monthly conference call meetings, an hour or less in length. Committees are also established to help plan and implement events, trainings, scholarships and more. The time commitment for these positions is dependent on your schedule and flexibility. Please contact me with any questions.
