A little bit about the CPRS Recreation Therapy Section: The Recreation Therapy Section demonstrates a high level of commitment to meeting the challenges of the Recreation Therapy profession. The section responds to the call for accountability through the program of education and cooperative actions. Our response is in our mission statement:
- to foster and support the advancement of the profession of recreation therapy
- to pursue actively the legislative agenda and processes
- to educate and inform members and customers
- to promote the benefits of recreation therapy
- to combat the misconceptions of Recreation Therapy
