Hello CPRS District 8 Members!
District 8 is looking for individuals to take on leadership positions that are available on the Board of Directors. This is a way for you, as a paying member, to have ownership in how the district runs and input on various trainings and information that is sent out to the membership.
There are four positions available:
• Vice-President, 3 Year Term (Position advances to President, then Past President)
• Secretary, 1 Year Term
• Treasurer, 1 Year Term
• Newsletter Editor, 1 Year Term
Other positions appointed to the board include Section Representatives for: Administrative, Aging Services & Activities, Aquatics, Development & Operations, Educators, Recreation Supervisor, Recreation Therapy and Representatives for Commercial & Legislative. If you are a CPRS Section member and are interested in serving as a representative on the District 8 Board for your Section please let us know.
District 8 conducts conference call meetings, an hour or less in length, each month. Committees are also established to help plan and implement events, trainings, scholarships and more. The time commitment for these positions is dependent on your schedule and flexibility. For more information or to submit your nomination form contact: Sarah Daub at sdaub@crpd.org.
