  • City of Mill Valley - Hosting Adaptive Needs Training on May 18th

    Dear Recreation Section Members,

    The message below is being shared on behalf of the City of Mill Valley which is located in District 1....

    Learn how to help your community build awesome programs for those with adaptive needs including afterschool programs, classes for adults, summer camps, swim lessons and more. Using the City of Mill Valley’s award-winning programming as a model, this information workshop will address the logistics of how to get started, secure funding, advertise and operate these programs. You will leave this workshop with helpful handouts and practical knowledge that will give you the tools to confidently begin implementing programming.

    Date: Friday 5/18

    Time: 9:30 – 1:30pm

    Cost: $40 including boxed lunch from Boudins
