Board Application

 Subject: District 7, 2017 Board Officers

Applications are now being accepted for next year’s District 7 Board officers from the General Membership. Our voting will take place electronically through the CPRS state office.  Please read the following criteria and complete and return the enclosed application to me by October 28, 2016.  Applicants must be a CPRS active member in good standing.

Duties of officers:

Vice President

1. Serves on the District Board of Directors.
2. Serves as the Chairperson of Program Committee (i.e. General Membership meetings and Awards & Installation Banquet).
3. Presides and serves in the absence of the President.

Secretary/Treasurer

1. Serves on the District Board of Directors.
2. Keeps official minutes of business of Board of Directors and District.
3. Notifies members of Board of Directors meetings.
4. Carries on official correspondence for District and Board of Directors.
5. Receives and disburses all District funds.
6. Makes periodic financial reports to Board of Directors and District membership.
7. Prepares and submits the yearly audit to the Board of Directors.
8. Performs other usual duties of a Secretary/Treasurer.

Member-At-Large

1. Serve on the District Board of Directors.
2. Shall represent the general membership.
