CPRS District 3 is excited to announce that applications are open for our 2025–2026 Student Scholarship Program and Professional Grant Program. These programs are designed to support both future and current professionals in the field of Parks and Recreation by providing financial assistance for CPRS membership, conference participation, District 3 trainings, and research benefiting our region.

Objective:
To support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in parks, recreation, community services, or related fields.
Eligibility & Criteria:
- Must be a resident of District 3 (Alameda or Contra Costa Counties), attend a college in District 3, or work/intern/volunteer for an organization in District 3.
- Must be enrolled at an accredited university at the upper division or graduate level. Interns are welcome to apply.
- Scholarship funds may be used for:
- CPRS Membership
- Registration for a CPRS Conference or Symposium
- Registration for the CPRS District 3 Fall Institute
- A CPRS D3 Board–approved research project benefiting District 3

Objective:
To assist CPRS members working in District 3 agencies in accessing professional development or conducting research that benefits the district.
Eligibility & Criteria:
- Must be a current CPRS member (or using a portion of the grant to become one).
- Must work for a District 3 agency.
- Grant funds may be used for:
- CPRS Membership
- Registration for a CPRS Conference or Symposium
- Registration for the CPRS District 3 Fall Institute
- A CPRS D3 Board–approved research project that benefits District 3
All completed applications must be submitted by Monday, December 15 at 5:00 PM.
