The California Department of Parks and Recreation's Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) is pleased to remind you of the December 14, 2023 deadline to submit applications for the $50 million Outdoor Equity Grants Program (OEP), Round 2. OEP will fund program operations to increase the ability of residents in underserved communities to participate in outdoor experiences within their community, at state parks, and other public lands. The program's focus is on funding transportation, equipment, staffing, and other program operations, and capacity costs. Funds cannot be used for capital/construction projects.
Application Due Date and Amount Available
$50 million is available for Round 2. Up to $700,000 may be requested per application. Applications must be submitted through the online application portal, Submit, before 5:00pm, December 14, 2023.
