It is Award Season in District 12!
This is the time to recognize all of the fantastic achievements that were accomplished in 2022!
Whether you are submitting your own accomplishments or highlights someone else's, submissions are being accepted to celebrate the great work done in the past year!

District 12 Award Categories
Recognizing a professional with outstanding leadership and significant contributions
- Program Creation of an new and innovative or unique professional recreation program that is of special benefit to the community.
- Facility Facility design that has exhibited creative and/or innovative design in a recreation facility, community center, aquatic facility, nature center, cultural center, etc. that is a benefit to the community
- Park Design Design of an innovative park which can be described as a pop-up, pocket, neighborhood, community park and etc. Demonstrated creative use of materials, equipment, plants or other unique features.
- Event Recognition of an indoor or outdoor professional recreation event that is of benefit to the community and/or an event that has increased participation with a revitalized theme, marketing, layout and etc.
Recognizing an individual or organization that has made a substantial and meaningful impact
Recognizing a full-time employee for their leadership and outstanding contributions
Recognizing a volunteer who has displayed exceptional dedication, talent, and enthusiasm
Recognizing a volunteer who has displayed exceptional dedication, talent, and enthusiasm
Recognizing a part-time employee for their outstanding contributions

Awards will be presented to the winning recipients at the District 12 annual Award & Installation Breakfast on April 25, 2023 at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center.
