Sharing the below information from the SDSCF
San Diego Seniors Community Foundation (SDSCF) is working toward opening a senior center in East County, where nearly 80,000 older adults (65+) reside, yet only one senior center currently exists. As part of this effort, we are assessing the needs of older adults and identifying service gaps in the region.
We would greatly appreciate your help in two ways:
- Complete Our Senior Service Provider Survey – We want to understand the services your organization provides to seniors in East County and your perspective on the primary needs of older adults in the region.
- Help Us Distribute a Senior Survey – We are also gathering input directly from older adults to ensure their voices shape our plans. If your organization serves seniors in East County, we kindly ask for your assistance in sharing our survey with them.
Both surveys will remain open until May 1, 2025. This input is invaluable in ensuring that future senior services in East County truly meet the needs of our aging population in East County. Our goal is to collect 1000 surveys!
