    Our year as a board might be coming to an end but there are still so many chances to connect and get involved! Below are the remaining events for the year (see attached for flyers)

    SDSU Basketball - RTSA/D12 Social

    When: Friday, March 6th @ 5pm-7pm

    Where: Oggi's Pizza, SDSU

    Join us for some pizza at Oggi's on the SDSU campus for a great chance to connect with future Parks and Recreation professionals and cheer on the Aztec's as they take on UNLV!

    CPRS District 12 - March Madness Tournament (Scholarship Fundraiser)

    Go head-to-head to members throughout District 12 in our new March Madness Tournament! This is a great opportunity to network under the umbrella of friendly competition to take home the first ever CPRS District 12 March Madness Scholarship Trophy!

    Entry is free but donations are of course encouraged in an effort to raise money to provide meaningful scholarships to professionals and students throughout San Diego and Imperial County! 

    Join through the ESPN Tournament Challenge app and create your bracket by March 19th to participate!

    Region 5 CPRS Conference Social

    When: Thursday, March 12 @ 4:30pm-6:30pm
    Where: ISM Brewery
    On Thursday of the CPRS Conference, Region 5 (District 9, District 10 & District 12) will be hosting an amazing social at ISM Brewery! This is a great chance to have some fun and connect with professionals from throughout our region! Come and grab a bite, start your night off right and have a great time with R5!
    District 12 - BBQ Lunch Social

    When: Wednesday, March 11 @ 12pm-2pm
    Where: Famous Dave's BBQ (300 S. Pine Ave. Long Beach, CA 90802)
    Going to conference? Already wondering what you're going to have for lunch the first day of packed educational sessions? We have the answer! Join District 12 for a lunch meet up to get together and have some BBQ at Famous Dave's! We wanted to have a chance to connect with everyone from San Diego and Imperial County during conference and this is a great way for experienced conference attendees and first time attendees to connect.
    CPRS District 12 Awards & Installation Breakfast

    When: April 7th @ 8:30am - 11:30am
    Where: Encinitas Community Center
    Finally, there is still time to register for the CPRS District 12 Awards & Installation Breakfast! 

    On Tuesday, April 7th 2025 from 8:30am to 11:30am we will be at the Encinitas Community & Senior Center to celebrate the great accomplishments by the outstanding Parks and Recreation professionals and agencies throughout San Diego and Imperial County over the past year.

    Registration: November 12 - April 3

    Early Bird: $40.00 (Ends Sunday, March 15th)

    After Early Bird: $45.00

    Register at 2026 Awards and Board Installation Breakfast today!
