District 5

Hello everyone,

CPRS D5 is very excited to announce that we have an upcoming Lifeguard Instructor Training in Gustine, CA on April 25th and 26th.

We have a lot of interest, and confident we can fill the course. However, I do need commitments and student information as soon as possible.

There has also been interest from individuals outside of District 5. Since the CPRS District 5 Board and the American Red Cross have generously agreed to sponsor a portion of the course fee to help keep costs down, I want to ensure that District 5 agencies have the first opportunity to enroll their lifeguards. At this time the fee is $400 however as we get more participants we should be able to lower the fee a little and invoice once we know the number of participants and work out the expenses.

Registration is now available on the City of Gustine's website (link below). Please register your lifeguards by this Friday. This will allow us to open any remaining spots to those outside District 5 if needed.

Please note: the Friday deadline is for registration only, not payment. There will be additional time to submit payment, which we hope will make things easier for everyone. At this stage, we simply need registrations to get an accurate headcount and ensure we can fill the course.
