Good morning CPRS District 5!
CPRS District 5 is excited to host a Leadership Academy on Saturday, October 3, 2026, designed to strengthen our workforce and support the next generation of Parks & Recreation professionals. The Academy will provide opportunities for staff at multiple stages of their careers-from those looking to enter the profession full-time to emerging supervisors, managers, and future administrators.
The day will feature a keynote speaker, a Directors Panel featuring Parks & Recreation leaders from throughout our region, and breakout sessions focused on professional growth, leadership development, and career advancement.

Registration: $30 per participant
Capacity: 120 participants
Registration is expected to open within the next week or two. With space limited to 120 participants, we encourage agencies and individuals to mark their calendars now and be prepared to register early. We are looking forward to bringing professionals from across District 5 together to build connections, develop leaders, and strengthen the future of Parks & Recreation in our region.
