  • 1.  Insurance coverage for rentals and field usage

    Hello Everyone!

    The City of Newark is exploring offering insurance coverage for rentals and field usage, either directly through the city or via a recommended vendor, for a minimal fee. Groups have expressed raising insurance rates and are looking for relief. Does any organization here offer renters the opportunity to obtain event insurance through your entity? If yes, what is the process for acquiring insurance? Do you work with your insurance provider or depend on a vendor for this service?

    Nick & Bridget, 

    I have attached the City of Concord's PDF on Facility Rentals which includes on page 8 two 3rd party vendors folks can purchase insurance from when renting one of our community centers but I am not the expert on this as I do not oversee facility rentals.
