    Do you require your youth sports volunteer coaches to become a mandated reporter? If so, what is your process on that?

    Hello,

     

    Yes ,we require our new staff to do an online Mandated Reporter training, I've sent you the link.  For many years it was free, now there is a fee.

    • We typically schedule our staff for these trainings.  We either have them in an office or a conference room with multiple computers set-up, deepening on the need. 

     

    We also have an Abuse Awareness Training that is held in-person.  This training hits on some serios issues (personal, real life, difficult).  It is not a certified training, but the trainer is excellent.
