  • 1.  Paid Advertising in Recreation Guides??

    Hello All! 

    Are there any organizations that allow outside paid advertising in your Recreation Guides? If so - how much do you charge and how do you decide what businesses or organizations are included or permitted to advertise?  San Ramon does not currently have paid advertising in our guide, but has in the past and this is being revisited.

    Here in Alameda we do have a fee for advertising. We charge the following 
    Full page $927
    Half page $464
    Quarter page $232
    1/8 page $124

    We do not have but a few non-profits that take out ads. Makes me think we need some guidelines on those.

    Hi Amalia! We got your voicemail here at Walnut Creek Arts + Rec. Thanks for reaching out. We do not currently run outside paid advertising in our activity guides. We list the names and contact information for some of our community partner groups, and we will soon include spreads that recognize our sponsors, like "Walnut Creek Arts + Rec thanks our sponsors: BUSINESS NAME and logo, BUSINESS NAME and logo..."
