Dear CPRS District 4 Members and Community,
The California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS) District 4 Annual Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Mountain View Community Center. This special evening honors outstanding individuals for their professional and volunteer contributions to parks, recreation, and human services.
Please share this opportunity with colleagues in your agency, including those who may not be CPRS members. Since some award categories have limited entries, be sure to coordinate applications within your agency and obtain director/department head approval before submission.
All the information for Awards Dinner is in the link above. Attached is a list of the awards categories for easier viewing.
Award Application Details:
- A brief description (100 words max) explaining why the nominee or program deserves recognition.
- One to three supporting photos (to be emailed to d4cprs@gmail.com).
- A $40 application fee per submission.
- Applications will be reviewed by a committee chaired by District 4 board members.
- After you complete payment and check out, you will be prompted to fill out an "order form" to provide the nomination information for each award submission. You can purchase multiple award submissions in one transaction.
Key Deadlines:
- Award applications ($40 per award) are due by Friday, March 14, 2025.
- Dinner reservations ($48 per person) are due by Friday, April 25, 2025.
Award recipients will be recognized at the CPRS District 4 Annual Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner on May 8, 2025.
