The JEDI Counsel is hosting a free virtual roundtable on March 5th from 12:30 – 1:30 pm via zoom focused on grants and other federal funding sources impacted by recent Executive Orders.
We'll also hear from a California agency participating in NRPA's Supporting Healthy Aging Through Parks and Recreation (SHAPR) Grant. They will share firsthand insights on new restrictions on the awarded funds regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion, and gender ideology programs, personnel, or activities.
The discussion will be followed by an open forum for participants to discuss what they're observing, planning, and considering in their own agencies. Our goal is to help each other identify potential pivots and strategies to adapt to these evolving guidelines.
