CPRS District 1:
Fall is here, and there are a lot of activities happening!
First, a recap on some of our past events:
Sonoma County Social: Thanks to everyone who joined us at Cooperage Brewing Company. Great job, Director at Large Mike Cook, for planning a fun evening for everyone to gather, network, and relax.
CPRS Leadership Summit: District 1 was well represented at the CPRS Leadership Summit for some networking and collaboration! A big thank you to our CPRS leadership and HQ for an informative and engaging day in Burlingame with our fellow parks and recreation leaders from all over the state.
Aging Roundtable: Great turnout at our virtual roundtable; thank you to everyone who attended. Great job, Aging Section Representative Erin Stroud, for some fun games, valuable ideas, challenging scenarios, and excellent discussion.
Lastly, there are many exciting events on the horizon; here are a few:
RecTrek 2022: The D1 Board is hitting the road for a several-day tour to some of our counties up north with several mixers, socials, park tours, and other gatherings along the way. Jump in at any point along the way, or follow our adventures on Facebook or Instagram.
Bowling for Parks: IT’S HERE! Register, pledge, and support parks & recreation. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we need your help! Join us for Strike Night for bowling, food, raffles, and prizes. This year we encourage you to wear a movie-themed costume. It’s going to be a blast! You do not need to be present at Strike Night to participate!
More details on these events inside! Check out our upcoming virtual roundtables, be on the lookout for upcoming D1 socials in Marin & Napa counties, and register for Fall Forum. Look for updates on Facebook.
Many exciting things are ahead!
