      • President Heidi Mazas
        • With Ben on a call with Jenni and other region presidents about the JEDI Training. Ben will represent D10.               

• • • President Elect Melissa Torres
      • CPRS HQ working on a 75^th anniversary capsule (opened on the 100). Need something to put in from our District (preferably no masks or hand sanitizer
    • Vice President Brittany Batiste
      • Opening nominations for 3 positions. VP, Directory of Fundraising, Secretary. Announced at general meeting today and open next week.
    • Director of Programs Cody Huson
      • Had social couple of weeks ago (12 in attendance).
      • Membership meeting today
      • Save the Date for the D10 training going out today. Planned for in person on 1/28/21
    • Director of Fundraising Melanie McGrane
      • Today in the training everyone will see sponsor commercials. Encouraged to follow their social medias.
    • Secretary Molly Patience
      • Members: 9 new, total of 696
      • District Digest out next Wednesday, submissions due by Tuesday morning
    • Director of Training & Dev Joanna Contreras
      • RLTC reached out to HQ wanting to use cadmium account. FYI No longer using that platform.
    • Treasurer Justin Schmillen
      • Nothing to report

      • Had HQ September meeting
        • Had a budget audit, reviewed and approved
        • Just hired a Director of Education
        • Memberships are remaining consistent despite COVID
        • Working on linkage plan of how to best serve members
        • Reaching out to potential candidates for state board
        • District & Section Leadership Summit was successful (100 in morning, 70-80 in afternoon)
        • Working on setting up a virtual run/ride/walk to San Diego. Get membership active, have fun. More details to come.
        • On the new website- challenged to at least go into your profile to set-up.

  • Administrator Marc Gutfeld
    • No report
  • Aging Danielle Borenstein
    • Starting a social media campaign- agency spotlight. Highlight other agencies who are doing other kinds of senior related programs during this time. Kudos and idea exchange.
    • Senior Symposium scheduled for 10/28-29 on Zoom, 1-4:30pm. $15 per day/per person or $20 total, $30/agency. Deadline 10/23 to register.
  • Aquatic Tierney Doran
    • Couple of surveys to come out: topics on the intensive at Conference, CAMS
  • Jan/Feb in Riverside will be a Red Cross Instructor training Academy

• • Development & Operation Vince Brantley
    • Maintenance Management School was Cancelled/Postponed
  • D&O is moving forward with the Park Planning Symposium, March 22. Please see attached and share
  • Educator Laurel Richmond
    • Working on our research sessions for conference and are very excited that cord hired an Ed coordinator for the conference
  • Recreation Ashley Blair
    • Join the Board for Rec Section. Applications due 10/3. Region 2/4, VP, Secretary. Just completed School of Rec. 150 registered.
  • Student (Fullerton) Jorge Orozco
    • Flyer for CPRS mentor program was passed around to students on campus
  • Student (Long Beach) Caitlyn Sampson
    • Will use flyer to advertise at LB
  • Therapeutic Aumee Frey
    • Have not had a meeting since June. On the email and newsletter list. In contact with D4 rep. All focusing on making sure that everyone has the CEUs they need and educational trainings needed are available.
  • A-Team Jose Pina
    • Goal is to reengage the advocacy team with 3 subcommittees
    • Review CAP Tools on the website. Will highlight some of the 9 categories. Want to find different cities who have made an impact in their community under those specific areas.

    • JEDI Training (justice equity diversity inclusion)- looking to do it as Region 5 versus district. Doing a November training but two opportunities to attend.
    • Fall General Membership meeting today (approximately 110 set to attend)

    • Mentoring flyer will go out soon. Registration is open. Kick off event on 10/15. Deadline 10/12.

    • Flyer is going out today/next week. Registration opens 10/12. $5 per agency
