In August, the Development and Operations (D&O) Section announced the opening of the D&O 2015 Maintenance Management School Scholarship Program. We are reaching out to the membership again to encourage your participation.
As you know, each year the D&O Section provides scholarships to attend Maintenance Management School (MMS) that is held each November at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead, California. This year the school will be held November 16-20. You can find out more about Maintenance Management School by clicking on this link.
Maintenance Management School is the premier park management training opportunity in the western United States. MMS features First Year, Second Year and Graduate programs and the opportunity to network with top park management professionals from the city, county, special district and state agencies in the western and southwestern United States. The subject matter is taught by park professionals, consultants, vendors and public officials who are leaders in our industry.
This year's applications are due no later than 5:00 PM, Monday, September 21, 2015. Applicants will be notified of the selection of this year's recipient(s) by Friday, October 9.
