On behalf of the California Foundation for Parks and Recreation Scholarship Committee, they are now accepting scholarship applications for juniors, seniors and graduate level students majoring in Recreation, Leisure Studies and closely related fields throughout the state of California. The committee offers scholarships to assist noteworthy students in fulfilling their goal of entering the Parks and Recreation profession. Award amounts are generally between $1000 to $2000. On occasion, an outstanding student has been the recipient of more than one scholarship. Apply today or share it with a friend, coworker or student that could benefit from this opportunity. Deadline to apply is October 30, 2016.
