In 2023, CPRS rolled out a new professional development opportunity: the Financial Sustainability Certification Program. Over 60 California participants have completed the program with rave reviews. They loved it so much, we are offering five more sessions across the state in 2024!
“Fantastic content and delivery. Most impactful professional development I’ve participated in, in a long, long time. Thank you!” -- Andrea Willer, Recreation & Cultural Services Director; City of Marina
“The 110% Financial Sustainability Certification Course provides a compelling framework for rethinking what Parks & Rec Departments should offer and why and where to best apply subsidy funds. Jamie efficiently leads participants through a clear methodology for how to apply these concepts to their unique communities. Her personable style and delivery make this otherwise daunting topic very manageable and attainable. Simply put, this is the best workshop for our profession, to ensure that we can all continue to deliver robust parks and recreation services long into the future.” -- Brigitte Shearer, Belmont Parks & Recreation Director
“Engaging and thought provoking. I could spend an entire week on this topic!” -- Tara Deffley, City of Napa
