I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Izzy, and I oversee contract classes for the City of Ontario. We recently received a contract class proposal that offers potential value to our community; however, the pricing is quite steep and may not be accessible for many of our residents.
During negotiations, the instructor suggested the possibility of using medical insurance, specifically, IEHP, to help offset the cost of participation. This is not something our city has previously encountered or has experience navigating.
I'm reaching out to ask if anyone in our district has had experience with contract classes being covered-either partially or fully-by medical insurance. If so, I'd greatly appreciate any insight into how you approached it, how it was implemented, and any challenges or best practices you encountered along the way.
