We hold a lottery for our summer programs. Parents fill out and submit a form by a deadline. Then we put all the applications in a binder and randomly picked numbers and assigned them to the applications. Prior to COVID we then notified families what number they were and then they came to registration day and waited for their number to be called. During COVID we would register them based on their selections in the order of their lottery number.
