JEDI Counsel Virtual Roundtable

The CPRS JEDI Counsel hosts a quarterly virtual roundtable discussion to support park and recreation professionals learn, cope, navigate and advance JEDI principles.  All are welcome to participate regardless of CPRS membership.  JEDI Counselors take turns helping facilitate the group discussion often with a brief presentation to kick off the discussion.  These virtual roundtables offer a 'brave space' for open dialogue and learning about what can be challenging or nuanced topics.  
For this roundtable, the CPRS JEDI Counsel will be joined by CPRS member Donna Legge to tee up and facilitate the discussion in which we will explore going beyond the land acknowledgement and engaging with Indigenous and Native American communities. 
Participants are encouraged to come with questions (or send them in advance to Lauren@cprs.org) and be prepared to discuss approaches taken by their own community/agency.
