Attention all Parks and Recreation Directors!
As the D7 President, I'm excited to announce a call for all Parks and Recreation Directors to come together and discuss important topics related to the management and upkeep of our public spaces, programs, and services.
As parks and recreation directors, you are critical in creating and maintaining safe, welcoming, and engaging parks and recreation for your community. This call allows you to connect with other directors from around the district to share your experiences, insights, and best practices.
Some of the topics we will cover during the calls may include but are not limited to the following:
- Innovative ways to engage community members in park activities and events
- Strategies for managing and maintaining park facilities and equipment
- Tips for creating inclusive and accessible park environments for people of all abilities and backgrounds
- Best practices for addressing safety concerns and enforcing park rules and regulations
- Insights on the latest trends and developments in the field of parks and recreation management
- Plus, any other topics you'd like to discuss.
This call is open to all Parks and Recreation Directors, regardless of your experience level or community size. We encourage you to come prepared to share your ideas and experiences and learn from others in the field.
