Lydie Gutfeld has been presenting for over 10 years on topics ranging from active aging, contracting, leadership, marketing and staff management. With over 25 years in the recreation, she brings an energetic and passionate view to the definition of leadership. Lydie completed her MPA at California State University Fullerton in 2017 with honors and had the honor of being selected as the top fellow for the City Manager Fellowship internship. She has worked for the cities of Beverly Hills, Culver City, Irvine and Mission Viejo. She is currently the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director for the City of San Bernardino. She served on CPRS State Board as the PCRS 2019-2020 President and was awarded the Helen I. Pontius National Award of Merit from the Women In Leisure Services National Organization in 2019. In her spare time, she is the proud owner and head choreographer for a nationally ranked competitive cheer company, Cheer Better United.
